Welcome to the Twin Waters website

New Zealand is opening up to international visitors.The Lodge will re-open on October 21 and we look forward to welcoming you.

In the post-Covid19 environment we have arranged self-service for breakfasts. You will still get a warm welcome from your hosts and optional welcoming drinks with us. We will introduce you to our amenities and the many activities you can do in and around our special place.

We are in the north-western corner of the South Island amongst some of the most varied scenery and outdoor activities New Zealand has to offer. Our purpose-built lodge nestles harmoniously on a finger of land between a wildlife estuary and the shining blue waters of Golden Bay. Drift off to sleep to the sound of the sea and wake to birdsong from our resident tuis and bellbirds. Enjoy relaxing on your private deck overlooking the estuary where the view sweeps up to bush clad hills. Join us at Twin Waters and make your stay in Golden Bay truly memorable.

Explore to your heart’s content – Kahurangi and Abel Tasman National Parks, the famous Farewell Spit and Te Waikoropupu (Pupu) Springs are all nearby. From Pohara in the east to Puponga in the west, take your pick of lovely beaches. Or head to Wharariki for the day, one of Golden Bay’s gems, with huge sand dunes, islands, caves and wild water.
